Trip to Tamale

Our trip to Tamale and the Northern Region of Ghana was a delightful adventure filled with cultural experiences and natural beauty. Joining Hands for Ghana: A Volunteer EMT’s Mission to Make a Difference

Am a volunteer EMT in Arco, Idaho, and through fellow volunteers Ginger and Lewis Bird, I learned about Ghana Make a Change. My company, Dragon Fly Tarps, donated fabric to make washable sanitary pads for Ghanaian girls who miss school due to lack of access to disposable pads. This experience inspired me to join their next humanitarian trip as part of the Medical Team. However, the trip costs $3,500, which is a significant financial burden.
